چکیده
The in situ surface reconstitution of a catalyst for hydrogen evolution refers to its structure induced by strong interactions with reaction intermediates during the (HER), which eventually leads self-optimization active sites. In consideration superior performance that can be achieved reconstitution, more and attention has been paid relationship between site HER activity. More and/or operando techniques have explored track dynamic structural catalysts order clarify underlying mechanism. This review summarizes recent advances various types reconstruction such as reconfiguration crystallinity, morphological evolution, chemical composition phase transition refactoring, defects, interface refactoring process. Finally, different perspectives outlooks are offered guide future investigations. is expected provide some new clues deeper understanding reactions targeted design desirable structures.

In situ activation of a Ni catalyst with Mo ion for hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline solution
In this study Ni catalyst have been activated during hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) by adding Mo ions into the alkaline electrolyte. After dissolving different amounts of ammonium molybdate in the 1M NaOH as electrolyte, Ni catalyst was used as cathode for HER. Afterwards a comparison between hydrogen overpotential measured in Ni catalyst with and without in situ activation has been made; th...

Progress in catalysis is driven by society's needs. The development of new electrocatalysts to make renewable and clean fuels from abundant and easily accessible resources is among the most challenging and demanding tasks for today's scientists and engineers. The electrochemical splitting of water into hydrogen and oxygen has been known for over 200 years, but in the last decade and motivated b...
متن کاملIN SITU SILICA SUPPORTED METALLOCENE CATALYSTS FOR ETHYLENE POLYMERIZATION
Bis(2-R-ind)ZrCl2 (R: H or phenyl) was supported on different types of silica by in situ impregnation method and used for ethylene polymerization. In this method, the step of catalyst loading on support was eliminated and common alkyl aluminum (triisobutylaluminum, TiBA) cocatalyst was used instead of expensive methyl aluminiumoxane (MAO) cocatalyst in the polymerization. The effect of surface ...

متن کاملNano-tungsten carbide decorated graphene as co-catalysts for enhanced hydrogen evolution on molybdenum disulfide.
A novel electrocatalyst of layered MoS2 supported on reduced graphene oxide (RGO) decorated with nano-sized tungsten carbide (WC) shows an enhanced catalytic performance in the hydrogen evolution reaction, which could be attributed to the presence of a conductive and electrocatalytically-active nano-WC dispersant and the positive synergistic effect between nano-WC/RGO and layered MoS2.
